This medicine is available without prescription. However, you still need to use Medicinal Air, Air Liquide carefully to get the best results from it.

What Medicinal Air, Air Liquide is and what it is used for
Medicinal Air, Air Liquide contains air that is used for inhalation.
Medicinal air replaces normal air whenever particle free air is required, e.g.:

As a part of the fresh gas flow in respirator treatment and/or in connection with anaesthesia.

As propellant for inhalation of medicines (nebuliser treatment)

As pure air in the care of patients susceptible to infections such as in cases of organ/cell transplantation or extensive burn wounds.

How to use Medicinal Air, Air Liquide
Always use Medicinal Air, Air Liquide exactly as your doctor has told you. You should check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Medicinal air is used for inhalation.
Medicinal air can be used in children, adults and elderly
Medicinal Air, Air Liquide is usually breathed through nasal prongs or a mask. Either you breathe yourself – you “breathe spontaneously” – or you are helped to breathe by means of a respirator/ventilator. Medicinal air can also be used in connection with inhalation of medicines (nebuliser treatment).
Medicinal air can be mixed with medicinal oxygen when a higher concentration of oxygen is required.

Medicinal Air, Air Liquide is intended for medical use only.

Only connect the cylinder to a connection intended for medicinal air.

There must be no smoking or open flames in rooms where medicinal air is used.

Keep the cylinder clean, dry, and free of oil and grease.

Switch off the equipment when it is not in use.

In the event of fire – switch off the equipment.
The pressure regulator must be opened slowly and cautiously.

5. How to store Medicinal Air, Air Liquide
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Do not use this productafter the expiry date which is stated on the label. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Store the cylinder in a place reserved for medicinal gases (does not apply to home environment).
Handle carefully. Ensure that the gas cylinder is not dropped or exposed to knocks.
Must be stored and transported with valves closed and, where these are present, with the protective valve cover/cap in place.

Pharmaceutical form: Medicinal gas, compressed.
Medicinal air is a colourless and odourless gas.
The shoulder of the gas cylinder is marked with black and white paint (air). The body of the gas cylinder is white (medicinal gas).
